Is it worth one all-expenses paid vacation in Jamaica?”
Gut-check time. At some point in life you will have a goal, a desire..something you want to attain or accomplish. Once you know where you want to go, the next question is much harder to discover your answer to. “What are you willing to do to get there?”
That’s commitment. A mentor of mine suggested that when evaluating whether to take on a client I should ask them if their goal is worth more to them than a one week holiday on a sunny and sandy isle. If you can look someone else in the eye and say “YES” we have bingo and a great start. What’s the goal of Primal Health? It is this simple..you have reached a point where you are unhappy with SOMETHING about your current state of health and fitness.
“ I am embarrassed when my t-shirt rides up and people can see my belly.”.
“Playing with my kids is really hard!”
“ I am tired and achy all the time and it’s a gladiator round robin to make it to the weekend.”
“ I got invited to go on a hike and had to turn it down because I wasn’t sure I could make it.”
“ I can’t concentrate on anything more than a tweet or a TV show.”
“ My doctor wants me on three different meds for the rest of my life.
“ I want to get in shape so that I can join a gym.”
If any of these even remotely sound like something you have said at one time then it is fair to say that you want to be in a different place from where you are. As a Primal Health coach, I am here and I want to help.
Primal Health is about re-connecting to a world that is fading from view. Shaking the hand of the person that grew your spinach and arugula is Primal. Easily sprinting to catch a hat that has blown away in the wind is Primal. Feeling the soil under your feet and smiling at the sun is Primal. Waking up without needing to hit snooze three times or use a blaring alarm is Primal. Feeling and looking the best you ever have been is Primal.
Welcome! Come on in and take a look around. I am not asking you to go on a fad diet or deprive or isolate yourself. Eat real food. Play with your friends. Be outside. Talk instead of texting. Lift heavy things properly and run like you had to every once in a while.
I am right here with a big smile on my face, waiting to help you with the next steps.
Those steps start with habits…habits that will have you living the happiest, healthiest and longest life you could have.
